About me
John Davis is a Secondary English Language Arts Consultant for the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, where he works to align his passion for literacy and the humanities with the important work of academic standards and pedagogy. John has been committed to public education his entire professional career. Prior to working at the state level, John worked at the district level as a curriculum and instruction specialist; before that he was a high school English and rhetoric teacher. John has degrees in English, History, English Education, and Curriculum & Instruction. He attended UNC-Chapel Hill, where he was a NC Teaching Fellow, and Wake Forest University.
